At Children of Esperança we develop projects to help the children gaining new skills while having fun.

Poverty and a poor family structure commonly lead poor children to leave school early. They earn an extremely low “salary” proposing all kind of services, sometimes including drugs and prostitution. This project aims to show the children the importance of education and encourage them to continue their studies by offering rewards stationery sets and scholarships.

Arts & Culture

We believe education is the key to lift those children out of poverty. Cultural and artistic activities with a playful approach can enhance their confidence, open their minds to new horizons and encourage their creativity. Furthermore, these moments sometimes facilitate communication with adults to expose some personal problems.

COLORAMA project

We provide art materials to design workshops for disadvantaged children. The idea is to encourage creativity through fun activities. while making them thinking about their future and detect early artistic vocations which deserve to be supported.

This is a one-week photography workshop designed for teenagers. The workshop includes basic photo shooting notions, outdoor shooting and analysis of the results. Through this workshop, children will discover a new field and it will push them to take a fresh look at their environment.
